Rising. Not hugely over normal limits this evening in Lacock, but pushing through. Below the weir at Chippenham is a different story though. Pretty much unfishable when they let the water through.

The river is up & brown which should prove interesting for the Nationals on Saturday. Maybe a Barbel will win it :?:

river bank high and almost spilling over at melksham and beanacre today, bright chocolate colour.
maybe good for weekend!, unfortunately unable to fish! story of my season GRRR :oops: :cry:

river will be very high brown and pushing very soon i should imagine, gosh it piddleyed down today!

Was 1ft from top at 15:00 dropped 2ft by 19:00 dropping out fast again at Lacock.

i didnt hear the rain last night but river up a good 4-5ft this afternoon, looked to have dropped back abit by evening

Woken up by rain in the night, woke up to snow on the ground, here is the result.

I didn't expect to catch, but had a nice quiet couple of hours on the bank.
The river was rising & fast!

Had a short session yesterday with Bushie,not a knock and the wind was freezing :( :(
Barbel rods away untill it warms up a bit for me. ;) ;)
