Hi John,

The section below Lacock road bridge goes down to Queensfield Farm and is covered by the same ticket from the post office. The left bank looking downstream is the longest as this goes three fields further than the right bank. The lower boundary is the field above the farm on the opposite bank to Beanacre (Check out Google Earth) on the A350. Parking is available in Queensfield Farm which is the next farm up on that side accessed by the track from Lower Woodrow. Be warned the track is a car killer.

Hi chaps , out a couple times this week but have only caught chub allthough some nice ones :) this despite a lot of walking around trying to spot a few boris, i had seen a few the weekend but they didnt seem to be in residance :( I think i will have to get me some new spotting glasses with barbel tinted lenses !! ;) Also i did lose a very big pike which took a 3lb chub that was temporarily stuck in some weed ,a huge swirl before swimming off with the poor thing clamped in his jaws ,poor thing  Anyway will be out and about again the weekend ,may have to start concentrating on one stretch again as feel like i am struggling after a little success the other week :?

Hi all,

Well done to Jimmy on your double chap. You don't always get the best one but still a good fish ;)

Didn't do too bad myself today either. Separated a big fish out from the others after ignoring pick and spits from four smaller ones and struck into this one when she picked up.

Image

Very deep fish with room to fill out later at 11lb. 15oz. :D :D

Then moved to another swim and missed the biggest fish four times she was that quick :!: :!: but did get a bonus when I hit this one whilst they were both in the swim

Image

Another deep fish with even more room to fill out at 10lb. 12oz. :D :D Brings me to thirteen this season.

Regards Martin
