Waiting for Crucians

Postby ididcatchonce » Tue Jun 01, 2010 1:16 pm

Hi all,

Image

Been spending a bit of time after Crucians. So far out of eight trips, six consecutive blanks, followed by five fish, and then eight. Biggest fish just short of 1lb. Loads of missed bites and pulled out of a couple.

Not fished for them for years and it's just nice to be on the banks of such a pretty venue with no one else apart from Fish Botherer, who has not had as many fish or visits but has had the best at just over the 1lb.

Regards Martin

That swim looks inviting Martin. Any pics of the fish? Have you been using lob worms for bait  .

Brings back memories of my times fishin for them at a pond near Middlesbrough one prob all were stunted fish had 250 for 4lb :)
Same with the tench ...great on a whip though but l did have my biggest roach from that pond just under 3lb on a bubble float spraying with casters....

Looks a great crucian venue that mate...
