Fair comment Mark, I have had my fare share from the Wye, The D Stour was for many years THE top Chub river, times have changed though, the best chub river in the country is undoubtably the Great Ouse at this moment in time and has been for a couple of years now..

my pb of 5lb 8oz from a few weeks back. took two pics, just in case... both came out this blurry!

Great fish matey well done not as good as a barb but still nice to break your pb and the 5lb mark whatever the species hope to be out on friday may see you about.

Hi all out wednesday for the chub and did good had 6 chub all over 4lb and a small barbel for aboutt 4/5lb and back out yesterday with barry and had another 4 chub all over 4lb and barry had 2 chub his best one nearly 5lb so we were both very happy ..
