Does anybody know the condition of river at the mo and what the water temp is like looking to get out in the next couple of days for a session. regards dave.
Hi Dave, Yesterday at Lacock it was about double its summer level, pushing through but 3oz was enough to hold bottom. It was coloured but the edges were beginning to clear. I'm not sure about the water temp as I don't take it. Sorry I'm not a bit better at putting my report into words.
The temperature reported is spot on as my finger thermometer said 44/45 Fahrenheit (I don't own a real one ) and my mates proper one agreed at 45.5
The river is up a bit, still rising slowly and carrying a slight amount of colour, and yep they are feeding

The Dorset Stour was well up and almost over the Bank when i drove past it going to work today, so it look's like a trip to the BA or HA for a change is on the card's.
