Was walking at Laycock yesterday (Sunday 6th June); about seven fish spawning just below Reybridge, one or possibly two good doubles among them.

Hi Tom,

The river has not risen much, only an inch or so at best, although there is a little bit more flow and just a hint of colour. Slightly more colour below the confluence of the Frome.

river low, gin clear and getting choked with weed. have had reports of fish coming out on all streches in diferent degrees of numbers, all except Claverton, havent heard any news from this stretch.
could do with a bit of prolonged rain, although good to wade now.
