The Avon looks very promising up a few inches and with a bit of colour, but not sure how much salt etc there will be in it with the thaw we've had. Fished it yesterday with float and bread for one small chub in about 4 hours.

Just come back from an abortive trip to the Wye this morning having made the trip over without checking the latest web cam pictures - bad move!

Oh well it was a nice drive anyway!

Hi

I was out today in the Freshford area, the water was approx 2ft within the banks and water very cold indeed due to the snow melt.

It looked great but not a bite on either of my rods.

A few anglers about but nobody caught as far as I was aware.

Regards

Jedd
It was this big
