Nigel,
Yes, I had a day out with Ray Walton on the same day as the Catching The Impossible team were in town. So i got to meet Martin Bowler, Bernard Cribbins and Hugh Miles too.

I had a fantastic day with Ray and learnt more about the river in the 9 hours I spent with him than it would have taken me 4 or 5 years to achieve on my own.

Great pics of the most famous Barbel Fishery in the world!

Love the Pic of the Railway swim - where F.W.K Wallis took his record 14lb 6oz barbel on floatfished worm in the 1930's.

Never fished the Royalty. One thing I intend to do before I die :lol:

I took a helicopter trip in April from Hurn airport. The weather was pretty awful but I captured a few photos that may be of interest.
