Fished below Chippenham Sunday and they opened the weir gates constantly letting through a torrent of water. Very frustrating trying to fish those conditions, but at least there's some water coming down.

sadly no pics, but all over the fields in places, river back in bank today but still fields underwater, wasnt able to get through to holt from staverton yesterday as water on road, i heard on radio, water was over the rd in lacock yesterday, but should have fallen back by now,? maybe. More rain forecast tomorow so it may be interesting again on friday as still really high. Avoncliff on the tv yesterday adn the weir was barely visible, as the camera panned upstream.

Glad I went for a wander along the banks last weekend, doubt you would be able to see much this weekend
Hopefully it will dry up a bit next week before the big day, but will the fish be full by then :(
Cheers
